About
S&ROMEDA is a galactic 4X real-time strategy game, played on a procedurally generated galaxy set by host. You start with a single homeworld. You end either ruling the stars, vassalized by a stronger empire, or wiped from galactic history.
Up to 20 players per match. Add AI empires to fill out the galaxy. Add hostile AI Xeno factions for the chaos. Each match can run for hours depending on how big you make the map and how aggressive you tune the threats.
Early game build, plenty of update to come!

- Map overlays - switch between territory, threat heatmap, and resource views at any time
- Victory paths - Galactic Domination, Total Conquest, or simply outlast the apocalypse
- Tick Based Economy - All economy numbers tick on a 10s time frame.
What you do
- Create your empire - Pick a name and color, choose your homeworld from any unclaimed system (watch planet amount for a good starter world)
- Build your economy - Each planet has factory slots — Banks for Credits, Farms for Food, Mines for Materials, Decelerators for Antimatter, Research labs for tech.
- Claim adjacent systems - along jump lanes. Each claim costs Research; bigger empires pay more.
- Build a fleet - Construct shipyards on owned systems. Send ships out to attack and claim territory or defend allies.
- Negotiate, trade, or wage war - Other players and AI empires can be allies, trading partners, or enemies.
- Survive the xenos - They want everything you have. They don't negotiate.
- Win - Dominate the galaxy. Take 60% of the galaxy and hold it for five minutes — or wipe out every other empire. Just don't fall to the xenos first.
Multiplayer
- Hosted via s&box lobbies — public, friends-only, or private
- Up to 20 players per match
- Fill empty slots with AI empires that propose treaties, declare wars, and grind through expansion at their own pace
- Drop in 0–14 hostile xeno empires to vary the threat level
