Rolling on the River
Six rivers run from the mountains to the sea. Sticks fall from the trees and float off with the current, the dry plains finally have water, and lakes are full of plants, lily pads and rocks.
New Section
Water has come to the Isle of Nugs. 🌊
Six new rivers
Six rivers now wind down from the mountains to the lakes and the sea, with waterfalls along the way. The dry country in the north, east and south-west used to be miles from a drink. Now it has fresh water running through it, and over half the island is within a kilometre of a river.
Sticks 🌳
Now and then a stick drops out of a tree. They're real physics objects: they tumble, roll and settle. Press E to pick one up in your mouth with any dino, and carry it wherever you like.
Go with the flow
Rivers have currents. Swim into one and it carries you downstream. Drop a stick in and it floats off with you. Swim against it if you've got the stamina.
A drink on the dry plains
Thirst was the toughest part of life out on the plains. Now there's a river nearby: wade in, hold E and drink your fill.
Life in the water
Lakes, rivers and the sea are full of life now: water plants carpet the beds, lily pads float in calm water, reeds and cattails crowd the banks, and boulders and rock outcrops sit on the bottom. River banks are sand and pebbles. And you can actually see under water now.
Splash
Water reacts to you. Jump in and you get a splash, wade and you leave a wake, and boulders in the rivers churn up ripples and spray.
On the map
Press M and all six rivers are on the island map, so you can plan your route to water.
