You are a porcelain spinning top. Knock the other tops out of the bowl before your spin runs out.
Spin is life.
Whirlware is a spinning top brawler roguelite set on a tea table. You are a little porcelain top, painted in cobalt blue. The arena is a dish. Your enemies are other tops: celadon dreidels, charging Imari bells, jade gyros, nesting tops that split when they break, firecrackers that blow up their friends, lodestones that pull you towards the lip, and a black basalt mirror that moves exactly opposite to you.
Ram them. Dash through them. Knock them over the rim and watch them shatter on the table below. Every clash costs spin, every broken top gives some back, and when your spin runs out you wobble, topple and break.
Unless you mend. In the Japanese art of kintsugi a broken bowl is repaired with gold and becomes more beautiful than before. After every dish you pick one of three kintsugi, and each one is painted onto your top as a golden seam.
Every top has its own glaze art: leap and crack the glaze with a quake, become a celadon cyclone, raise a golden guard of plates, whirl a windmill, spill an oil slick, or lasso three tops with gold threads and fling them out of the dish.
The service goes from round bowls to long platters, rounded trays and ring dishes with a hole in the middle, with chopsticks to bounce off, mochi rolling about, a sushi conveyor and teapots that spray tea from the lip. Every host changes the dish when it gets angry. Break the Colossus and the Endless Banquet opens: a huge platter, guests that never stop arriving, and a host served every three minutes.

Description:
The Dragon Wakes
Oct 19, 2026
Improved
- The Kiln Dragon - rebuilt as a dragon teapot: the spout is its snout, horns on the lid, golden eyes, whiskers, a scaled body with golden spines, clawed legs and a tail fan
- Fire breath - the dragon marks a cone, then breathes a roaring stream of fire from its spout that follows you and leaves burning glaze behind
Fixed
- Quick Wind - was far too strong: now winds up 20% faster with a 15% bigger wind ring, and stacks twice instead of three times
- Falling off the dish - no longer a free reset: you lose 30% spin, half your wind ring, and cannot wind up for 2.5 seconds after landing
The Fancy Tables
Oct 19, 2026
Added
- The Tea Garden - a sixth course: a willow tray with chopsticks, a lotus ring with a hole in the middle and a chopstick bridge platter, hosted by the Matcha Whisk
- The Sushi Bar - a seventh course: a conveyor tray, a mochi platter and a gold ring with a teapot on the lip, hosted by the Cup Tower
- New dish shapes - long oval platters, rounded trays and ring dishes you can fall through
- Dish obstacles - chopsticks to bounce off, rolling mochi, a sushi conveyor and teapots that spray tea across the dish
- The Matcha Whisk - stirs the dish into a green whirlpool, then taps the lip three times and is dazed
- The Cup Tower - five stacked cups; only the bottom one breaks, and every cup fights its own way
- Angry hosts - every host changes the dish in its second phase: tea floods, the dish turns, the lip breaks, the dish cracks in half
- Glaze arts - every top has its own big ability on Q / Y / RB: Crackle Quake, Celadon Cyclone, Golden Guard, Windmill, Oil Slick and Gold Thread
- House rules - some dishes come with a twist for extra gold: a lazy susan, a wobbly table, ice glaze, a saucer or spilled tea
- Elite tables - every guest is gilded, and the kintsugi after it is rarer
- The teahouse - before every host, spend the run's gold on tea, mends and kintsugi
- Hosts - a host is served every three minutes, followed by a stop at the teahouse
- Platter events - tea floods, shard rain, gold rush, a turning platter, stampedes and whirlpools
Improved
- Quick picks - always three cards after a dish, from 15 clear, punchy kintsugi
- Hosts - breaking the host wins the dish at once
- Winding up - a rising whirr, light drawn into your top and a bell when your spin is full
- Slippery tea - much more slippery, with a splash and a trail
- Shards - tops burst into many small shards that settle and sink away
- Sound and music - teahouse music, themes for the new hosts and a sound for every glaze art
- Controller rumble - on big hits, mends, glaze arts and broken hosts
- Menus - cards fly in, every option can be changed with the mouse, a clearer top select screen
- Tutorial - a new last step teaches your glaze art
Fixed
- Mouse clicks - menus and cards react to the mouse reliably
Removed
- Rerolls, the fourth card and the free picks when starting at a later course - fewer menus, more spinning
