    i know its lost hope for it to happen for gmod, but i can genuinely see a console port for this. is it possible this will come one day?

    Possibly.
    As Facepunch said, best to make sure the engine works on PC before putting it on consoles.

    I think it would be very difficult, maybe near impossible to do that elegantly. The only solution I can think of is to only allow "console supported" games to be shown in the game browser.
