I'm having an issue with PNG files in my project. I'm trying to use SpriteTools for a platformer, but as soon as I import my PNGs into the assets folder, they appear as missing textures (magenta/purple) in the Asset Browser.
(This error only happens when I download the spritetools)

I tried everything to fix it (I guess)
The files look perfectly fine in Windows Explorer, but in the s&box they just turn purple/magenta (empty) PNG's
I get the following error in the console: Generic Image.Load: sprites/0.png not found

I searched the internet and I couldn't find anything so I asked gemini and it said it might be something about  Resource Compiler of s&box.

Just click on a png in Asset Browser and create a texture (vtex), use it, imo that's the best way. Most likely your problem is that you didn't specify the path to this png in Resource Files (Project -> Settings)
