So, I managed to get my entry for the game jam finished—the first game I've ever made!
There is SO much involved just to make something simple, and I was wondering if people would look it over and give me some feedback? (I'm not asking for a vote, but I feel like it won't get seen, and I'll be left not really knowing what I did right, wrong, or indifferent.)
I think I had issues trying to cram too much in, making a mess of files and assets to the point where I got hella confused. Instead of making one long stick, I kinda taped 20 twigs together... it works, but it's not the same. I figured there's a better way to do what I did, and the best way to find out is to ask.
Anyway, any feedback would be hugely appreciated!
And before it's mentioned—yes, I used AI to help code. For someone who knew zero coding, I didn't really know where else to go. I tried to approach it as a learning tool instead of a copy-paste tool, and I actually managed to debug a few things on my own toward the end, so I feel like I made progress. (That's why the code is full of comments; it let me keep track of what was what.)
Thanks, guys!
