Hey, I am on Windows 11.
I found that the Editor lives in the sbox folder with the main game (and the standalone editor in steam can't access it for whatever reason).
However, starting it still does not work because I get the following error message:
sbox-launcher: This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Re-Installing twice (tried different partitions, too) did not solve it, however.
Any way to find out what the plugin/dlls are that I need to start working with the editor?
Any help/pointers appreciated, cheers!

Okay, my ADHD-ass was too fast. I FOUND A FIX. Leaving this up for anyone else having problems:
Potential Issue:
Do you have multiple partitions and/or drives? I did. Steam / s&box seems to get confused by that.
After initial installation, I found VARIOUS sbox folders scattered across various partitions (because Steam uses them all).
Solution:
1. Uninstall s&box AND s&box editor
2. MANUALLY navigate to ALL steam folders on ALL drives
3. DELETE every single folder that is named "sbox" or similar
4. Re-Download ONLY s&box (the game/platform, NOT the editor!)
5. Right click on s&box -> Manage -> Browse Local Files -> Run the sbox-dev.exe --> this will start the editor just fine.
Optional:
6. Add the sbox-dev.exe as a "Non-Steam-Product" to your library for quicker access.
7. Make fun games.
