Will it be similar to the other jams where we need to post it by the deadlines and if we want to add some changes we have the possibility to update the game later on and take a chance that it hasn't been reviewed yet?

And can a single person participate in multiple teams/help with multiple entries?

The game should be fully created within the allotted 2 weeks. Participants should playtest and publish early to work out bugs so that everyone is on a level playing field. Updating after the deadline should be avoided.

And can a single person participate in multiple teams/help with multiple entries?

Sure, but only 1 submission per person.

    Hallo Everyone,

This is my team of friends' submission to this game jam:

    Tool

Tool is a chaotic, physics-based climbing game where you explore a mysterious, oversized facility armed with nothing but the ability to duplicate props and accompanied by a sarcastic narrator who's oddly invested in your repeated failures.

To make progress, you'll copy and stack anything that isn't bolted down. Climb through industrial rooms, unstable platforms, and questionable maintenance shafts, all held together by physics and poor judgment.

    You're the Tool.
    Good luck with that.

    Any feedback is welcome guys!

My submission to the game jam is Voxel Party!

The main gameplay loop is that a structure appears on your plot, and you have a few seconds to memorize it before having to replicate it yourself! Every round has an accuracy threshold and whoever is below that is eliminated. Once everyone fails you get ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and can do a stupid dance on the podium.

I worked on this with DadTaco and I'm pretty proud of how far we got in 2 weeks! It uses our own custom voxel system, lets you load minecraft skins (the character models were similar enough, so why not!) and uses MIT licensed textures, with some of them redone by me.
