Race real-physics FPV drones against bots and friends, then fly a strike-drone war campaign that ends aboard an AC-130 gunship.

Fly it like it's real. Fight like it's real.

FPV is a first-person drone game built on a real flight model: Betaflight rate curves, a simulated flight controller, motor lag, battery sag, propwash and ground effect. Race the stadium against bots and friends, cruise a huge open world in Free Fly, or take a strike drone into a 13-mission military campaign that ends in the sensor seat of an AC-130 gunship.
Never flown a drone? Pick Casual on first launch: plane-style controls with ground protection. Already a pilot? Pick Sim for full acro. You can change it any time.

Four ways to fly

  • Racing: MultiGP-style gates, dive gates and flags on four tracks: Airfield, Bando, Quarry and Stadium. Run heats against 4 to 8 bots that fly the exact same physics you do, or chase your best lap in time trials.
  • Free Fly: no timer, no rules. Three zones to rip: the airfield, a ruined power-plant bando and the quarry terraces.
  • Campaign: realistic FPV warfare against AI ground forces. Missions unlock one by one, by day, dusk or night.
  • Multiplayer: host or join a lobby for up to 8 pilots and race, free fly or run campaign missions together.

The campaign

No ground combat, only the drone. You are the operator; the convoys, trench lines, gun crews, jammers and AA guns are AI. Pack your kit, launch from the table, keep your link alive and make the hit count.
  1. Basic Training: arm, climb, fly three gates, switch camera, strike a parked truck.
  2. Convoy Strike: stop an armoured supply column before it reaches the depot.
  3. Trench Line: clear infantry and dugouts while shotgunners on the parapet try to swat you.
  4. Ground Raid: drive a tracked robot with a 20 kg charge up to the bunker door.
  5. Artillery Hunt: find the guns, then silence them.
  6. Depot Raid: thermobaric drones and ammunition stacks; secondary explosions spread.
  7. Heavy Night: an X8 octocopter, two heavy bombs and a thermal camera over a howitzer battery.
  8. EW Hunt: two jammers on different bands. Pick yours, or bring fibre.
  9. Fiber Deep Strike: a fibre-optic drone, unjammable, with kilometres of cable behind it.
  10. Relay Chain: targets too deep for a direct link, so fly through a relay drone.
  11. Lancet Hunt: launch a fixed-wing loitering munition off a rail, search from altitude, then dive.
  12. Night Convoy: a blacked-out column you find by its engine heat and the headlights it can't resist.
  13. Spectre Overwatch: the drones stay home. You are the sensor operator of an AC-130 orbiting a night firefight.

Six airframes

Each one is real hardware with real trade-offs, not a stat boost. The 5" Racer and 10" Strike are yours from the start; the rest you earn. Top row, left to right: 5" Racer, 7" Long Range, 10" Strike. Bottom row: X8 Heavy Bomber, ground robot, fixed-wing loitering munition.
  • 5" Racer: 650 g, 10:1 thrust-to-weight, about 150 km/h flat out. Pure racing and free fly.
  • 7" Long Range: recon, bomb drops and long flights.
  • 10" Strike: the kamikaze workhorse with a HEAT, FRAG or thermobaric warhead, on radio or fibre.
  • X8 Heavy Bomber: coaxial octocopter with a thermal gimbal and two 2.5 kg bombs. Slow and loud.
  • Ground robot: tracked UGV with a 20 kg charge or anti-tank mines. Its low antenna loses the link behind every rise.
  • Fixed-wing loitering munition: launched off a catapult rail, 80 to 110 km/h, 40 minutes in the air, TV or thermal nose camera.

What makes it different

  • X-ray hit replay: after a strike, a slow-motion X-ray replay shows the blast and the shrapnel going through vehicles and soldiers. The shrapnel is procedural, so no two hits look the same.
  • Spotter feed: a spotter drone overhead confirms the hit and shows you the aftermath.
  • Night vision and thermal: an analog camera is nearly blind at night. Buy a starlight low-light camera or a 384/640 thermal: engines, people and fires glow, decoys stay cold.
  • Signal you have to fight for: analog video grains, streaks, tears and breaks into static as the link fades with distance, terrain and jamming. Digital HD stays clean, then freezes. Lose the link and the drone fails safe.
  • EW jamming and fibre-optic drones: jammers hit specific bands. Fibre drones can't be jammed, but you pay for the spool in weight.
  • The AC-130: a ground-stabilised sensor ball in white-hot, black-hot or TV, with the 25 mm, 40 mm and 105 mm guns at real rates and real time of flight. Friendlies wear IR strobes; get too close and you hear "danger close".
  • A big world: roughly 4 by 4 km of terrain with about 25,000 trees, villages, trenches, a river, a power plant and a quarry.
SPECTRE, HAMMER 2-1. Six pax, strobes on. Stepping off now to the church square. How copy?

Career, store and hangar

Missions and races pay credits (night runs pay more). Spend them in the store on airframes, cameras, radio and video links, fibre spools, LiPo and Li-ion packs, motors and props, plus liveries, frame and prop colours and OSD colour themes. Fit it all in the hangar and watch the mass, thrust-to-weight, hover time and range change, all from the same flight sim.
Before each mission you pack your kit: choose which drones go on the rack and arm each one with a HEAT, FRAG or thermobaric payload.

Controls

  • RC radio: plug in an EdgeTX or OpenTX radio over USB and fly real acro on your own sticks, with axis detection, calibration and a live channel monitor in the radio setup screen.
  • Gamepad: assisted flight with altitude hold, or full acro.
  • Mouse and keyboard: point where you want to go and the autopilot flies there. Experts can switch to mouse-rate acro.
Radio pilots: s&box sees your radio as a gamepad. The in-game radio setup shows the one-time mapping line, and you should run controller_joystick_deadzone 0 in the console so the engine deadzone doesn't eat your stick centre.
Every scheme and every bot drives the same simulated quad. Assists only change how your inputs become commands, never the physics.

Casual flight, smoother strikes Oct 19, 2026
Added
  • Casual or Sim - A first-launch choice between Casual and Sim flight. Casual flies like a plane: point where you want to go, W/S set the speed, A/D turn. It keeps itself off the ground and climbs over obstacles unless you aim steeply down to dive. On a gamepad, the right stick steers and the left stick sets speed. Sim is full manual acro.
  • Casual any time - Casual is also selectable any time in Settings, Controls, and with the flight-mode key.
  • Menu pictures - Every drone, mission, track and mode now has a menu picture. They were missing from earlier builds.
Improved
  • Main menu - Loads faster and no longer stutters for its first seconds.
  • Hit replay - The X-ray hit replay now plays first, and the spotter feed takes over after it.
  • Casual hints - The drone OSD and training hints explain the casual controls.
Fixed
  • Stutters - No more hitches after strikes, respawns and camera jumps. The grass was creating garbage on every ground sample.
  • First strike freeze - The freeze on the first strike of every session is gone. Effects now load behind the loading screen.
  • Menu errors - Hundreds of thousands of errors were being logged in the main menu.
  • Antenna model - Missing antenna model errors.
  • Menu style - An invalid menu style rule.
