About This Package
Some of the rendering code in thornfield could be described as "bullshit" and "terrible" and is prone to being broken by updates. If the game is fucked, contact boxrocket.6803 on discord about it
An empty husk and its dog set off into a desolate freezing wasteland, battling packs of wild wolves and the extreme cold in a final effort to reach a house that the husk replicated by hand from a worn and fading poster.
Some notes for potential players:
The controls for the trimetric sections are middle click to move the camera, right click to switch interaction mode, left click to interact/move/shoot. To reload, right click on the weapon icon on the interface to switch to reload mode and then click to reload. You can also run instead of walk if you double click. While playing, be mindful of the thermometer in the bottom left, which shows the players current body temperature. If the screen flickers I'm like 95 percent sure that's the fault of the engine, and is almost certainly not there to impress encoded messages upon your subconscious.
The game closely replicates the prerendered graphics of the point and click adventure game Riven, as well as the trimetric sprite work of the original fallout games. The entire game is rendered in 3d in real time.
