A SPACE MMO
ADAM ONLINE
A persistent space MMO. One universe, one server, every player in it together.
You wake up at Adam Station with a starter frigate, a mining laser, a cannon and Euros. What you make of it is up to you:
- mine asteroid belts,
- build ships in your own industry,
- hunt pirates for the United Nations,
- crack ancient wrecks for their secrets,
- found an alliance
- and plant your own station in lawless space.
Fly it yourself
Combat is action, not spreadsheets. Steer with your mouse, aim with your crosshair and fire cannons, homing missiles and combat drones in real time. Every shot is a real projectile and every hit counts. Roll, strafe and burn your afterburner to dodge incoming fire. Webifiers slow your prey, warp scramblers stop it from escaping.
Build an economy
Mine and refine it into minerals and turn blueprint copies into modules, ammunition and whole ships. Copy blueprints with Encrypted Data Fragments. Trade on the market with buy and sell orders, and every player-owned station sets its own taxes. Real player market - every ship you see, every module you buy - is from a player.
Fit your ship
Seven ship classes, from the nimble frigate and the brawling cruiser to the heavy battleship, the mining barge, the fleet-boosting Mining Extractor, the transporter and the science explorer. Fill high, mid and low slots with cannons, missile launchers, drone bays, mining lasers, afterburners, armour plates, cargo expanders and more. Every module is built in Blender and shown on your hull.
Missions
Earn standing with the UN Navy. Escort freighters through pirate space, defend listening outposts, and take on Heart of the Colossus: fly into a battle station the size of a moon, fight down its shaft to the reactor core.
Explore and hack
Launch probes, triangulate hidden signals on a scan map and warp to derelict ruins. Breach their systems in a hacking minigame of firewalls, anti-virus nodes and a typing race at the core, and claim data fragments and rare blueprints.
Grow as a pilot
Four talent trees (Fighter, Mining, Industry and Science) reward what you actually do with permanent bonuses.
Play together
Found or join an alliance with ranks, a shared wallet and storage. Build a player station in Erebos that assembles itself over ten minutes, set its services and taxes, and defend it. Talk in global and local chat, or use proximity voice chat with the pilots around you.
Adam Online is in active development on a single persistent server. Your feedback shapes it: report bugs and ideas
