"Their instinct is the click on the server browser and find games there, which is the wrong way to do things in s&box, so we've removed the server browser."
Garry Newman, Update 26.09.01

Welcome back to doing things the "wrong way."

While modern discovery feeds and auto-playing trailers are great, sometimes you just want the classic multiplayer experience: an unfiltered, transparent view of who is actually hosting, what maps are running, and what people are playing right now.

This server browser queries the master relay directly, bringing back the control and utility of the classic s&box Server Browser:

- 📋 Global Server & Lobby List: Live queries across all packages, dedicated servers, and public lobbies.
- ⚡ Direct & SDR Connect: Join any active server directly without having to navigate into individual package sub-menus.
- ⭐ Favorites & Pinning: Star your favorite servers and games to keep them pinned to the top of your list.
- 🔍 Real-Time Filtering & Sorting: Sort by player counts, ping, package idents, or maps. Filter out full and empty servers with a single click.
- 🛠️ Deep Server Inspector: View host information, Steam Datagram Relay (SDR) status, host profiles, and custom lobby properties.
- 🖥️ Native Browser Access: Prefer the engine's Server Browser? Open the built-in native s&box server list overlay with a single click. (Click->NATIVE BROWSER)

No algorithms.. just servers.

Please note: "Connection Timed Out" errors are host-side network or ghost lobby issues that are beyond this browser's control.

new_releases Latest Update Sep 14, 2026
Open game modal from server details card
If the Engine Won't Keep It, I Will Sep 9, 2026
Added
  • NativeServerBrowser - complete standalone replica of the engine's modal server list
  • Fallback redundancy - automatically opens the replica modal if the native overlay fails or is unavailable
  • Modal views - includes Game Groups view, per-game Scoped Server list, and Join Server dialog
Improved
  • Lobby grouping - game groups are now cached on refresh instead of re-evaluating LINQ queries every frame
  • Host type detection - replaced SteamID string conversions with fast numeric checks for dedicated server detection
  • DOM reconciliation - added unique keys to server and group rows to eliminate list render churn
  • Package fetching - unified game and map package metadata queries into a single distinct pass
Fixed
  • Thumbnail loading - fixed package thumbnails and titles not triggering a panel re-render when finished downloading
Removed
  • Dead code - removed obsolete reflection methods previously used for opening engine server lists
