Somewhere in the void hangs a mass of 719 million blocks. Every player on the server is mining the same one. Every block you cut stays cut, for everyone, permanently. When the mass falls, the season ends, the record is written, and a fresh mass forms.
Fly a first-person mining drone, put your crosshair on a block, and cut. Fragments fund the workshop:
Wider cutter heads and deeper bores
Chain reactions and material scanners
Escort drones that cut alongside you
A salvage rig that keeps earning while you're offline
Drone shells every other miner can see
The deeper you go, the harder the material and the richer the yield. Four strata, each with its own look, toughness and price. Twenty
work orders from Field Control mark the way. Milestones are announced at 50, 90 and 99 percent, and the fall itself is a server-wide
finale: duration, top contributors, and every miner present, written into season history.
Season Zero: The First Mass is live now. When it falls, you'll be on the record.

How this works: This chart tracks all anonymous thumbs up/down votes, not just the written reviews below. Playtime is permanently recorded at the exact moment the user casts their vote. Data is exactly as returned by the Facepunch API.

Balancing and Cutter update
Aug 7, 2026
Added
- 7 × 7 Wide Cutter Head — a new top tier above 5 × 5
- Call for a hand: aim at a link node and press E to request help
Improved
- The endgame cutter is no longer priced out of reach. 5 × 5 drops from 50M to 6M, 3-deep from 80M to 12M
- The Season Core has its own colour instead of borrowing the link node's green
Fixed
- Switching crew banners off as the host only worked one way. You stopped seeing other miners, but they carried on seeing you.
Session tally

Added
- Session tally for blocks mined this session
Core & Crew Update
Aug 5, 2026
Added
- Season Core: a protected 10×10×10 structure at the centre of the mass. A crew of recent miners must strike it together
- Worker Drone Bays. Press F to deploy workers that excavate flyable 3×3 tunnels
- Persistent crew banners showing nearby miners’ names and distances, with a symmetric opt-out setting.
- Persistent return positions so miners resume near their previous working face.
- Season records, contribution ranks and titles displayed beneath returning miners’ names.
- Proper multi-season numbering and fresh-start progression between masses
- Added 10 s&box achievements.
- Automatic connection recovery, server heartbeats and Field Control warnings around server updates.
Improved
- Link Nodes now genuinely require two miners, with both receiving the full enhanced reward.
- Escort drones now commit to individual blocks instead of scattering damage.
- Escort beams now point at the blocks actually being mined.
- Fleet Cutters now improves both escorts and worker drones.
- New miners now spawn above recent excavation activity.
- Camera pitch now reaches almost completely vertical.
- Crew chat now includes timestamps, lasts longer and resolves names more reliably.
- Standings now show the top ten contributors and appear immediately when joining.
- Mining feedback now appears around the aimed block.
- Drone Finishes now recolour only the authored armour panels.
- Worker Drone Bay is now correctly placed in the Yield section.
- Large HUD numbers no longer wrap.
- The disconnected title screen now clearly reports LINK DOWN.
Fixed
- Packaged background music now plays reliably.
- Music no longer duplicates after scene changes or ignores the Music toggle.
- Season contribution, finale totals and work-order progress now display correctly.
- Work orders no longer complete again at the start of a new season.
- Standings no longer remain blank for joining players.
- Grounded escorts no longer appear active while not operating.
- Escorts no longer abandon damaged blocks before finishing them.
- Multiple escorts no longer select the same block.
- Escort beams no longer display incorrect targets.
- Crew banners no longer cause the entire HUD to rebuild every frame.
- Chat messages no longer display unknown player names.
- Clients now recover after losing their connection to the server.
- Finale text now correctly explains what carries into the next season.
Removed
- Functional upgrade and fragment carryover between seasons.
- Solo Link Node completion.
- Placeholder attachments from player drones.
- Client-guessed escort targets and the distracting escort orbit.
- Repeated Link Node chat announcements.
- Automatic worker reassignment when the fleet was full.
Known Issues
- Worker drones only operate while their owner is connected.
- Server updates briefly interrupt play while the server restarts.
- An unexpected server crash can roll back up to ten seconds of progress.
