An Art Deco pinball table built on an 1824 star atlas. Chart the constellations, eclipse the Sun, loop round Jupiter.
A pinball table built inside a 1930s planetarium, around a real star atlas from 1824.
No AI art here. The cards and the backglass are engravings from Urania's Mirror, a box of 32 star cards printed in London in 1824.Eight of those cards are your missions. Shoot the Observatory to start one, and its stars light up on the card, one by one, as you play. Chart all eight and the Meteor Storm begins.

- Send the captive Moon into the Sun with the upper flipper. The third strike makes a total eclipse: everything scores double for twenty seconds.
- Ride the Ecliptic, a brass wire ramp that loops round Jupiter. Light the planet first and it holds the ball for its four moons.
- Lock two balls at the Observatory for the Meteor Shower multiball: jackpots on the Comet Ramp, a million at the Observatory.
- Light the twelve signs of the zodiac on the trine bank, one element at a time.
- Line up the five planets for a grand conjunction, then loop the arch and send the Moon into the Sun to raise Urania, the muse of astronomy.
- Catch the shooting star, chain ramps into combos, and watch the table take the colour of your combo.
Leaderboard and achievements
- The Register of Observers, the table's leaderboard, shows your rank and the points you need to pass the next name.
- 24 achievements, from your first skill shot to charting the whole atlas.
- When a game ends, the card suggests the one thing to try next.
Controls
Shift or the arrow keys: flippers. Space: hold to pull the plunger, let go to launch. Up: nudge the cabinet, gently, or it tilts. A gamepad works too: triggers for the flippers, A to launch, Y to nudge.
Three balls, free play.

The register updates as soon as the game ends
Oct 5, 2026
Added
- Your line climbs the register - When a game beats your best, your line in the Register of Observers moves up past the players you just beat, and a note under the list names them.
- Your new place on the display - After the game, the score display shows where you now stand, for example "NO. 9 / UP 2 IN THE REGISTER".
- Sending status - The register says "Signing the register..." while your score is sent to sbox.game, then "Signed tonight" once the leaderboard has it.
Fixed
- Old rank after a new best - The register kept showing your old rank for a while after a better game, as if the score had not counted. Your new score now goes into the register as soon as the game ends.
- Wrong message on the plaque - After a game, the register plaque under the backglass could say "The register is closed tonight" when it was open.
The kickback now saves the ball
Oct 4, 2026
Improved
- One-way gates - Gates are now flaps hanging from a rod. The ball lifts the flap as it goes through, and the flap swings back down behind it.
- Kickback plunger - The kickback is now a plunger with a red rubber tip at the foot of the left outlane. It comes out from under the apron to hit the ball, then goes back in.
Fixed
- Kicked ball fell back down - The kickback shot the ball back up the left outlane, but the ball hit the wall at the top of the lane and dropped to the drain every time. That wall is now a one-way gate, so the kicked ball goes back into play.
- Only the kicked ball gets out - The gate only opens for a fast ball, like the one the kickback fires. A slower ball that bounces under it keeps falling down the outlane, where a lit kickback sends it back up.
