Cursed Log #2 | Blood, Beasts & Beyond
New gore, Bestiary, tutorial, Game+ and scaling difficulty. Plus new languages, QoL improvements and plenty of polish.
Gore & Visual Impact
The Bestiary
A complete Bestiary system has been added.
As you play, you can discover new creatures, unlock observations, and recover notes about them.
These notes are not just there for lore. Some of them contain useful information about how a creature behaves and can help you understand how to survive against it.
A Complete Tutorial Run
New players now have access to a complete dedicated tutorial run.
The tutorial introduces the main mechanics step by step instead of immediately dropping players into a normal run.
It covers the core loop of Cursed Business: exploring the map, identifying cursed objects, bringing them back, using your equipment, and escaping.

Victory & Game+
Cursed Business now has an actual victory condition.
Reaching the end of the normal progression allows you to complete the game and unlock Game+.
Game+ lets you continue playing beyond the normal ending while keeping the run progression going.
Difficulty Now Scales With Your Runs
Runs now become progressively harder.
Several parts of the game can scale depending on your current run number, including enemy spawning and other gameplay mechanics.
Some creatures also have a minimum run requirement, meaning the full roster will not immediately be thrown at new players.
Map theme chances now scale with progression as well, eventually reaching a guaranteed themed run at Run 10.
The deeper you go, the less forgiving the game becomes.
Item Marking
Items can now be marked.
This gives players another way to communicate useful discoveries with their team and keep track of interesting objects during exploration.
Especially useful when four employees are all running around making questionable decisions.
More Languages
Cursed Business is now available in more languages.
Localization has been added for:
English
French
German
Spanish
Brazilian Portuguese
Russian
A large portion of the game has been localized, including the main menu, tutorial, Bestiary, objectives, interactions, tools, chat, spectator mode, Game Over screen, lobby status, world panels, upgrades, missions, and other interface elements.
Main Menu Improvements
The main menu received several visual and functional improvements.
A new panorama showcase has been added alongside a dossier-style presentation system with its own animations.
Lighting in the showcase has also been improved to better fit the atmosphere of the game.
The lobby menu now supports additional regions and remembers your preferred region between sessions.
Creature & Balance Changes
Several creatures received additional balancing and behaviour changes.
Centi-Head movement has been adjusted, including its acceleration and maximum speed.
Dopple will no longer spawn during solo games.
Enemy spawning can now also use minimum run requirements, allowing creatures to be introduced progressively instead of all appearing from the beginning.
UI & Polish
Several parts of the interface have been cleaned up and improved.
The Bestiary UI received multiple layout and notification improvements, including a queued notification system so discoveries do not overlap.
The ECG interface was also refactored with improved structure and animations.
Chat avatars and visual static were adjusted, and various smaller UI elements received additional polish.
