## Project Overview & Open Source Vision
AshfordRP is a next-generation roleplay project on s&box, heavily inspired by DarkRP from Garry’s Mod. The project focuses on delivering a deep, immersive city roleplay experience where player choices, faction interactions, and progression systems are at the core of the gameplay.
Key Features:
- Dynamic Factions & Criminal Networks: Players can join or create mafias, gangs, or legitimate organizations, each with unique mechanics and influence on the city.
- Evolving Economy & Jobs: Classic jobs like law enforcement and civilian roles coexist with criminal enterprises. Players progress through levels, unlocking advanced roles, equipment, and privileges.
- Crime & Consequence: Actions such as heists, smuggling, or turf wars have tangible effects on the city and player reputation.
