  Revamp layout.css: overhaul user menu/trigger and dropdown styles (padding/gaps, avatar sizes, animated menu arrow, hover/focus states, badges, compact dropdown sizing and transitions). Tweak nav link spacing/icon sizing and underline positioning. Clean up and simplify footer rules (condense gradients/box-shadows, adjust sizing/spacing) and remove duplicated rule blocks. Consolidate and relocate responsive media queries to the end, streamline animations and accessibility (focus outlines, prefers-reduced-motion support). Changes improve visual consistency, reduce duplication and enhance responsiveness.

  Details

  Revamp footer markup, behavior and styles: remove legacy "glass" class and add a shimmer track, brand link wrapping with aria-label, reorganized footer sections and minor markup cleanup. Improve language dropdown JS by initializing on DOMContentLoaded, simplifying event handlers, and tightening error handling. Large CSS overhaul for the footer: new animations (shimmer, float, glow), refined background/glow/noise overlays, updated spacing/typography, enhanced brand icon visuals, hover/active states, improved nav/link underline animations, and redesigned stat cards with richer styling and transitions. Small i18n array formatting and other minor tweaks included.

  Standardize border-radius using CSS variables

  Details

  Replace hard-coded border-radius values with CSS custom properties (var(--radius-*)) across the frontend and some admin/backend PHP inline styles to centralize corner-radius control. Also update :root radii in frontend/css/base/base.css (normalized values) and adjust a few related classes (e.g. .rounded-none). Affects multiple CSS bundles and PHP views; may change UI corner appearance so visual QA is recommended.

  Reorganize and standardize the README table of contents for clarity and consistency. Renamed several headings (e.g. Steam Authentication → Steam Setup, Design System & Themes → Design & Themes), consolidated caching/refresh items, simplified deployment and troubleshooting entries, and adjusted web server and utility subsections. Added Multilingual Support and Notification Dispatcher entries and removed obsolete/duplicative TOC lines.
