Globefront

Game 1 playing

Claim land, nuke rivals, sink fleets and betray allies on the real 3D Earth in this real-time territory conquest game!

Trinit updated 1d ago 48 MB engine 29
Globefront is a real-time territory war fought on the actual planet Earth — grab one tile, grow an empire, and take the whole world!

Conquer a real planet

  • Drop your spawn anywhere on a 3D globe built from real NASA Blue Marble imagery and elevation
  • Win by holding 80% of the contestable land — or own the most when the clock runs out
  • Five worlds: real Earth, terraformed Mars, TRAPPIST-1e, TRAPPIST-1f and an endless waterworld

Fight on land, sea and air

  • Throw a slice of your troops at a neighbour with an attack ratio you set yourself
  • Build cities, ports, factories, defense posts, SAM sites, missile silos and warships
  • Ship armies across the ocean and land on a coast nobody is watching
  • Launch atom and hydrogen bombs — the fallout scars the map and the ground goes back to no man's land
  • Swat incoming nukes out of the sky with SAM launchers before they land

Trust is just another weapon

  • Alliances never expire on a timer — they last until somebody breaks them
  • Betray an ally and a red TRAITOR seal goes up over your name for everyone to see
  • Roads and trucks link your industry, and every truck stop pays whoever owns it
Play solo against 88 real-world AI nations and a swarm of tribes, or host a lobby for up to 32 players. Free, no ads, nothing to buy.

Replay Your Conquests! Oct 4, 2026
Added
  • Saved Replays - Relive your battles from a new library in the main menu!
  • Replay collection - Browse and delete local recordings, keep favorites, and automatically rotate your five most recent unprotected matches.
  • Match playback - Watch solo and multiplayer recordings with pause, speed controls, timeline scrubbing and jumps.
  • Frontline readouts - Track outgoing and incoming attacks with sword and shield badges showing attacking troops and the defender's shared reserve.
  • Operations and Defense - Review active attacks, transports and missiles, inspect defensive coverage and recall transports.
  • Find your target - Search revealed countries and jump the camera to known territory.
Improved
  • Elimination timeline - Country flags, names and timestamps make key moments easier to find. Click a marker to revisit the action!
  • Spectator vision - Replays reveal the full globe, minimap, units and roads while keeping troop counts tied to the recorded player.
  • Nuclear planning - Preview missile routes and blast areas, spot visible anti-air contacts along the route and track detected incoming threats.
  • Defense Posts - Land protection is now local, with clear coverage and construction status instead of misleading naval targeting.
  • Lobby layout - Players and chat sit together, with the map and match rules easier to browse. Host moderation controls remain available.
  • Localization - Updated replay, combat and defense text across all supported languages.
Fixed
  • Pause behavior - Pausing freezes playback and combat effects, silences active combat sounds and prevents pending seek work from moving the view.
  • Stable timeline - Elimination cards stay anchored instead of rebuilding and jumping during playback.
  • Live troop totals - Attack and defense readouts update consistently as reserves change, including valid zero values.
  • Border markers - Combat badges follow moving fronts more smoothly and avoid overlapping country labels.
  • Round restart - An eliminated host can no longer restart a multiplayer round while connected human participants are still alive.
  • Main menu alignment - Right-side panels now line up correctly.
  • Results panel - Post-match action buttons use equal-width columns.
Removed
  • Naval fire from Defense Posts - Defense Posts no longer target or fire at transports; their role is passive land defense.
Experimental Mode: Orbital Warfare Aug 26, 2026
Added
  • Experimental Mode — a separate, evolving ruleset that keeps Classic intact.
  • Fog of war with aging intelligence, shared allied vision, and full visibility for spectators.
  • Observation and laser satellites, orbital launchers, Space SAMs, and a drawable orbital laser superweapon.
  • Direct-control tanks, long-range artillery, mobile SAMs, aircraft carriers, and carrier fighters.
  • Vehicle health, fighter flares, burning wrecks, ballistic artillery, and distinct strike effects.
  • In-game suggestions and a dedicated post-match prompt to rate Experimental Mode.
Improved
  • Mobile units now have clearer selection, Shift multi-select, distinct move/attack cursors, and move-to-range pathfinding.
  • AI commanders better detect, defend against, and prioritize mobile combat units.
  • Carriers field two harder-hitting fighters; allied ports slowly repair warships and carriers and rebuild carrier air wings.
  • Fog is darker, circular, multiplayer-synced, and on by default in Experimental; Classic can opt in and remains off by default.
  • Orbital laser targeting now uses an intuitive click-drag corridor with a clear maximum area, stronger effects, and perfectly aligned damage.
  • Long-range artillery now covers twice the damage area, while armored units caught deep in hostile battlefields suffer attrition.
  • The shop, lobby, unit indicators, icons, feedback, and all 15 supported localizations received a full pass.
Fixed
  • Experimental multiplayer spawn placement, fog state, player identity, and late-join synchronization.
  • Allied vision now appears immediately when an alliance forms and disappears when it breaks.
  • Mouse cursor teleporting while issuing unit orders.
  • Orbital laser strikes failing to draw, fire, or damage the area shown by the beam.
  • Battlefield unit icons appearing faded, low-resolution, or incorrectly square.
Removed
  • Lobby debug controls from the public release.
